"The Good News"

While you are reading this article someone is one day closer to facing an eternity in hell.
This is not a very pleasant thought, but nonetheless it is painfully true. This morning, as you backed
of the driveway, someone in your neighborhood grieves with a broken heart. At your place of work,
someone is hoping that just one day might where they don't face another crisis alone. It could be that
one of your relatives has absolutely no idea how to get to heaven, and might even think that just
because you are a Christian, that will entitle them a place in God's paradise.

And yet another lost soul is searching for some kind of peace to replace the agony of stress.
Others that are right in the middle of your life, might be feeling desperate as the endure ridicule, financial
pressures, broken relationships or a health crisis. Brothers and sisters in Christ, God has put you here in this
community to make a difference. He has entrusted you and I with the precious Gospel. We have the only
hope. We have answerers to every one of their problems; His Holy Word. And we know for certain that
Heaven will be our eternal dwelling  place. The challenge is this; How can the family of Faith bring the
"good news" into the hearts of all those who are weak and heavy laden, cumbered with a load of care?
The answer is obvious. Let's invite them to our church! Could there be a more exciting time in our church.

Let's work together in an all out effort to bring them to the foot of the cross where they will
find the compassionate Savior reaching out with nail pierced hands to bring peace, hope, forgiveness and
strength. He alone can sooth the broken hearted. Christ alone has won the battle and promises to give
those who call upon Him the courage to face tomorrow.

He has commissioned you and I to go and teach them how Jesus has won the victory over sin,
death, and  the power  of  the  devil  so  that  we  can face our trials and tribulations with Him by our side.

Let's equip ourselves with Scripture as we go out into our neighborhoods, schools, and work
places with the great news about what God has done in our lives. By our being living testimonies to the
power of the Holy Spirit. There will be no doubt that we face tough times in a different way.

We know that God will never leave us or forsake us. We know that with Him nothing is
impossible. We know that that all pain and suffering is temporary. Nothing will never enter our lives that
He cannot handle. On Christ the solid rock we stand, all other ground is quicksand.
